Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness.

 Please use a sugar scrub that you can easily make at home for 3-4 nights prior to your lip blush treatment. Do it once more the morning before your appointment. Scrub lips for 2-3 minutes and wipe off the excess. Moisturize lips right after with a thick mask of coconut oil, shea butter, or Aquaphor.

If you have any history of cold sores/ fever blisters/ Herpes simple, you must contact your physicians to obtain and take proper prescription medication to prevent such outbreaks for at least 4 days before and after the procedure. 

Two or three applications may be required to achieve the desired results. It is not uncommon to lose up to 70% of the color on the first application.   

If you have never had micro pigmentation before, there are a lot of unknowns.  One of the most common questions we're asked is what to expect during the healing process. 

  While every person is different and some heal faster or slower then others, here's generally what to expect. Temporary side effects include redness, swelling, puffiness, bruising, dry patches and tenderness.   

You should expect to lose approximately 1/3 of the initial color during the healing process. It may appear too light within the first couple of days then after 10 days the color will show more. It takes 8 weeks to  completely heal.
